Engine & Drivetrain

Motor completely rebuilt 19,000 miles ago. (odometer: 86,727)
·       1970 302 Block
·       Original 289 2-V heads
·       Edelbrock 2121 Performer 289 Manifold
·       “Mild” lift cam
·       Summit 600cfm 4-bbl carburetor w/fuel pressure gauge / in-line filter / phenolic spacer
·       Ignitor II electronic ignition
·       Powermaster single-wire alternator
·       Milodon aluminum water pump
·       Cobra-style finned valve covers

Engine Compartment:
·       Hi-Po style air filter
·       SPAL single 16” electric fan with thermostatic control
·       4-row radiator
·       Gano radiator hose filter
·       Export brace
·       Many other updated / refurbished parts in the engine compartment, including: cap & rotor, battery holddown clamp, coil, spark plug wires, fuel pump, power steering pump / hoses / rebuilt ram cylinder, belts

Transmission / Rear:
·       Rebuilt C-4 from a ’70 Mustang.  This has the thicker input shaft (compared to the ’68)
·       T-Lock shifter lock (when locked, shifter can't be moved into gear)
·       Original 2.79:1 rear
·       Rear axle bearings and seals replaced

Exhaust:
·       Reproduction Hi-Po exhaust manifolds
·       2” exhaust system with H-pipe
·       Walker Dynomax SuperTurbo mufflers
·       Reproduction chromed split exhaust tips

Wheels / Tires:
·       Drum brakes with JMC aluminum dual master cylinder
·       15 x 7 Cragar S/S wheels
·        P225/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A Tires 
·       Gorilla Wheel Locks
·       Spare: P185/70R14 BFGoodrich Premier Touring Tire on standard steel wheel
