'68 Lime Gold Mustang Coupe For Sale

Selling my '68 coupe, which I nicknamed "sLime," because of the worn out look of the original Lime Gold color when I bought the car in 2002.  The largest amount of restoration work was done on the car in 2003, and other improvements have been added since then.

This car was originally purchased in late '67 at Golden Bear Ford in Berkeley, CA, and has always been owned in Northern California.  The car comes with original black CA plates and the original potmetal dealer plate.

Features and data:
  • VIN: 8R01C100XXX, indicating first day's production for '68 model year at the San Jose plant.
  • Lime Gold Exterior with black vinyl top (both restored)
  • Black standard interior (restored and updated)
  • 302 V-8 4-v / dual exhaust (rebuilt motor)
  • C–4 automatic (rebuilt)
  • BFGoodrich Radial T/A 225/60R15 tires on 15x7 Cragar S/S wheels
  • 105,966 original miles (documented)
  • Current CA registration through April 2014
The door data plate (photo below) decodes as follows:
